INSTALLATION GUIDE

As of version 2.4, This method does not work anymore. I will update the guide once a new workaround is found.

  1. Download the custom ReShade build.
  2. Extract the zip file to wherever it's easily accessible.
  3. Edit the 'Launch.ps1' file with notepad or your favorite editor.
  4. On the first line, replace the path with your Genshade folder.
  5. On the third line, replace the path with your Genshin Impact launcher. Save the file when you're done.
  6. Extract a preset to your Genshade folder. The .ini file and the reshade-shader folder should be in the same location as 'Launch.ps1'.
  7. Right click 'Launch.ps1' and click 'Run with PowerShell'. ReShade should automatically inject to your game.
  8. Once the game is fully loaded, press Home and the ReShade overlay should show up. Select a preset on the dropdown menu at the top. Feel free to configure the presets further to your liking. Enjoy!

FAQ

  • It's too bright/dark/contrasty/saturated!

    • Turn off the in-game bloom and/or enable and configure Lightroom.fx from your ReShade overlay. From there you can adjust the tones and colors. Make sure it's above LUT.fx.

  • Where do I get the Ray Tracing shaders?

    • You can get it by joining Pascal Gilcher's Patreon

  • Will I get banned?

    • Due to how ReShade works, there is a risk of getting banned. Use it at your own risk.
